Cup Classique, founded in 2022, is a premium herbal and fruit tea producer rooted in a closed-loop economy and a ‘slow grow’ philosophy.
Each of our teas is thoughtfully crafted from single-origin ingredients and carefully hand-packed into individual muslin tea bags. This artisanal process allows us to preserve the integrity of the botanicals while creating a refined, sensory experience in every cup.

Single Origin
We work closely with small-scale farmers, ensuring that every ingredient is traceable and sourced with intention.
Waste Reduction
Our packaging is locally produced using eco-conscious materials. Printing inks are free from harmful substances such as arsenic and lead, while our biodegradable elements are derived from cornstarch. Our muslin tea bags are made from responsibly sourced natural fibres.
Closed-loop Economy
We maximise each harvest by creating multiple product ranges from the same raw materials, reducing waste while expanding creative possibilities.
Infrastructure
By sourcing, growing, and processing as close to the origin as possible, we reduce carbon emissions and minimise reliance on complex supply chains.
Sustainable Farming
We support locally grown Johannesburg mint, alongside small-batch lavender and rosemary from our own production. All ingredients are carefully handled to maintain quality, minimise waste, and honour the natural character of each botanical. We partner exclusively with farmers who do not use pesticides.
